This piece is the best intro in years :) The scene today is nearly only based on demotools, which makes the scene looks like it's being dominated by machines and not by human creativeness.
Salute to people behind this :D you guys deserves it and it once again proves that the talents from the past can produce productions, that have more atmosphere, than most other scene productions have today. Respect!

"The scene today is nearly only based on demotools"
<-- you are wrong thinking this
Behind demotools stand coders; ppl like you and me. Guys who are working with demotools are guys like you and me, called designers. If you see a great gfx, it was done in PS. Maybe for 2D you say hey, it’s made with a tool? It doesn’t fit because its made with a tool called Photoshop...
anyway, this is a great intro from keops, did 4-mat extra made the tune for it? this intro is superb!
fantastic one, the replay rocks so very much!!

dear NuKe^S!P, i'm not wrong and you know it, at least deep inside.
The demoscene today is a almost a tool scene. It's like only having one tool to be able to create an effect. The personal touch for that effect is lost in the tool building process, because the designers are only limited to what the tool can do. It's a reason why the first couple of productions seems stunning/good with the tool, then the next demos/intros gets pretty limited.
Back in the old days, when coders, graphic and musicians worked together on a production, a certain atmosphere rised. Even lower quality productions had this kinda of atmosphere, an atmosphere that made you look forward to their next production.
I could ramble for hours about this subject hehe but i have to leave for work now ;) sorry Maybe i will do an article for next issue of PAiN about the subject with deeply explained examples ;P
Bare over with me

Hi Enzymer,
What makes you think that the demo scene is a tool scene? I don’t understand your point. Do you think every group has a tool to click and then the effects just come together? I mean you can count it on one hand those groups who have a demo tool running, but if you think you are elite enough do your own demo tool, then by all means, please do. I am not
intersted in a reply from you nor will I be continuing and further conversation on this topic. Cheers

Face it Nuke, most groups DO have their demotools! There's hardly any handmade production nowadays, at least when it comes to PC demos. So I fully agree with Enzymer. About the intro, very cool, great job Keops. :) Was fun seeing it progress and testing the previews. :)

One of the few PC intros I have watched recently (excluding remakes). It was worth it! Excellent job!
