This is a stunning piece of work but you know that. In giving a 10/10 usually I'd say to myself this idea couldn't be done better and I can't think of how it could be done better so get this 10/10.

Pirx+Tigrou: How many planes are raytraced here ?
The basic shape could be made of 6 planes and thus the rendering is a matter of displaying the 2 closest intersecting plane.
But there is some sort of gutter at the junction between the planes.

rasta, you're right,in total, 6 planes are raytraced (by group of 2, one for each 3d axis). After a special routine calc intersection between each other to obtain final effect
